Consequently: Under the Safety, Health andWelfare at Work Act 2005 there is a Legal Duty of Care imposed on all Employers to ensure all Electrical Installations in work places are Maintained, Inspected and Tested, so as to be safe and to prevent danger. Risk Assessments are required to be kept up-to-date. In addition every new installation or extension shall be Inspected and Tested to strict standards with a Certificate kept.
